Itinerary

Day 1: Sunday

 Cat Island

Depart Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) for New Bight Airport (MYCB) in the Bahamas. After clearing customs and immigration we will transfer to Fernandez Bay Village Resort. Take the day to settle in and enjoy the beach and relax. We will meet for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.

Day 2: Monday

Cat Island / Optional: Staniel Cay

After breakfast take an optional day trip (cost not included in price) to Staniel Cay. Fly to Staniel Cay Airport (MYES), in the Exumas. Stroll around the island, chat with friendly locals and explore the nearby beaches and sandbars. An optional boat tour is available to explore the famous James Bond Thunderball Grotto followed by a visit to the swimming pigs (yes, really!). After lunch fly back to New Bight (MYCB). For those not going on the day trip, it will be an opportunity to relax on the beach and enjoy the resort’s hospitality and amenities, or to explore the surrounding areas. We will meet for dinner at the resort's restaurant.

Day 3: Tuesday

Cat Island

Enjoy the pristine beach and turquoise waters of Fernandez Bay Village, take advantage of the resort’s complimentary kayaks, to discover delightful sights in the nearby bay and creeks. Visit “the Hermitage”, a miniature monastery built atop “Mount Alvernia”, the highest point in The Bahamas with a whopping 206 feet of elevation! Take the opportunity to visit the town of New Bight and enjoy a meal at a typical Bahamian island restaurant. In the evening, we will have dinner and a pre-flight briefing for next day’s flight to Stella Maris Airport (MYLS) in Long Island.

Day 4: Wednesday

Long Island

Depart New Bight Airport (MYCB) for Stella Maris Airport (MYLS) in Long Island. After landing, transfer to Cape Santa Maria Resort. Settle in and get ready to enjoy one of the world's most beautiful beaches. We will meet for dinner at the resort's restaurant.

Day 5: Thursday

Long Island / Optional: Deadman’s Cay

After breakfast take an optional day trip (cost not included in price) to Deadman’s Cay (MYLD) and explore Dean’s Blue Hole, the world’s second deepest salt water blue hole. Explore the less traveled parts of The Bahamas and experience the true charm of the Out Islands. Return to Long Island and enjoy the rest of the day. Those not going on the day trip, will be able to enjoy the activities recommended by the resort or relax at the beach. We will meet for dinner at the resort's restaurant.

Day 6: Friday

Long Island

Take this day to enjoy snorkeling, diving, or fishing in the surrounding areas of the resort. The Resort can help you arrange a tour or rent a car (cost not included in price) and learn more about Long Island’s rich history and beautiful culture. The resort also offers a tour to Sandy Cay (cost not included in price) where you will visit breathtaking sandbars and will observe the diverse fauna of the island. In the evening, we will have dinner and a pre-flight briefing for next day’s flight back to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE).

Day 7: Saturday

Fort Lauderdale

Time to say goodbye to The Bahamas. After breakfast we will clear customs and immigration out at the Stella Maris Airport (MYLS) and fly back to Fort Lauderdale Executive.
